Worker rescued from collapsed trench

DELANO, CA- A vineyard worker was rescued this morning after a trench he was digging collapsed in on him.It happened just after 9:30 Tuesday morning at Jasmine Vineyards east of Delano on Pond Road.Kern County fire officials say the man was digging a ditch, about 10 feet deep, to install a drainage system when it collapsed.
