'Wings' takes flight for Gracie

Friday's Wings of Rescue flight taking more than 150 Kern County dogs to shelters in the Pacific Northwest has been named in honor of Gracie, a Chihuahua-terrier mix from Tehachapi. Gracie was rescued by Have a Heart Humane Society in Tehachapi. She's about 3 years old and has been with Have a Heart for more than a year, overlooked by potential adopters, said Yehuda Netenal, Wings' co-founder.
