Wildfire threatens homes in Lebec

BAKERSFIELD, CA - A wildfire fire threatened as many as 25 homes in the mountain community of Lebec Friday night. It's located near Interstate 5 on the grapevine about 40 miles south of downtown Bakersfield.Emergency crews from Kern and Los Angeles counties were fighting the fire from the ground and in the air.The fire started just after 4 p.m. along Lebec drive.Fire officials said 300 to 400 homes could be in danger downrange.
