West High School on lockdown

BAKERSFIELD, CA- West High School is on lockdown as of 10:00 am as Bakersfield police search for a suspect wanted for a string of overnight crimes.

Information is still sketchy but police say there were two robberies and a shooting between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.

Police say they have recovered a gun and a car but are still looking for the suspect.

Many streets in the area of Valhalla and Nordic are blocked off as police conduct a search.
