Unemployment rate grows slightly from February

BAKERSFIELD, CA - New unemployment numbers are out and they show the unemployment rate grew slightly in March to 11.1 percent, from 11 percent in February.     March's unemployment rate is still significantly below estimates from one year ago at 12.9 percent.     This compares to the unadjusted rate of 6.5 percent across California, and the national rate of 5.6 percent.
