Unemployment numbers for April show improvement

BAKERSFIELD, CA - New unemployment numbers are out and they show fewer people are unemployed in Kern County.
The unadjusted rate for April is 10.3 percent.     That's down from 11.2 percent from March, and below last year's April estimate of 10.9 percent.    Kern County is more than double the national average, which is 5.1 percent for April 2015.     California's is 6.1percent.
