Two youth centers offering marine studies program

BAKERSFIELD, CA.-Looking for spring break plans for your kids? Two youth centers are calling for applications this morning for an after school marine studies program. The program will help some local kids discover the water for the first time. 

CAPK's Friendship House Community Center and the Shafter Youth Center have been awarded almost $9,000 by the California Coastal Commission to offer the marine program to 135 children this year and next.
