Two students spending their summer in Peru on a cultural exchange

BAKERSFIELD, CA.-Two students from McFarland High will be spending their summer vacation in Peru on a cultural exchange, thanks to the generosity of a local business owner. The two young men are part of a school swap as they spend over a week in Lima, Peru. Teachers and students from a sister school in Peru will visit McFarland. Jaime Rizo and Melecio Gonzalez will represent McFarland High School as they learn Peruvian language and culture, and visit ancient sites like the Inca Sacred
