Two officers attacked in separate incidents

BAKERSFIELD, CA - Two men were arrested for attacking law enforcement officers Wednesday in separate incidents that so far investigators say have no apparent motive.

The sheriff's department says early Wednesday morning a 33-year-old man shot at one of its deputies. CHP officials say a 23-year-old man punched one of its officers in the face Wednesday afternoon.
