Transportation workshop set for today

The public is invited to a pair of transportation workshops Thursday in downtown Bakersfield.

Prepared by the Kern Council of Governments, the Metropolitan Bakersfield Transit Center Study examines prospective locations where buses, bicycles and pedestrians would come together in an effort to improve the local transportation system.
