Traffic slowed for bridge work on Oak Street

BAKERSFIELD, CA - Bridge work done on the Oak Street overpass is expected to continue slowingt traffic. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes or expect delays.

The roadwork is in effect in the area between Truxtun and California Avenues, with traffic down to one lane in each direction from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The project is expected to continue through Mid April.
