Tractor crushes man near Wasco

A person was found dead over the weekend under a crashed tractor at Highways 46 and 99 east of Wasco.
A passerby noticed the farming vehicle in an irrigation canal Saturday morning and, upon closer inspection, spotted the body pinned beneath in several feet of water -- already deceased, according to the Kern County Fire Department.
