Three local Albertsons bought out by grocery store chain

In its recent purchase of 146 grocery stores along the west coast, Haggen Inc. bought three Albertsons stores in Bakersfield.
The acquisition is part of a deal in which Haggen, a small grocery store chain, purchased stores in Oregon, Washington, California and Nevada. Bakersfield's stores are three of the 99 Albertsons bought in the deal.
