The great outdoors: BC theater takes center stage

All that's missing is fireworks. Bakersfield College is reopening its Outdoor Theater on Saturday evening in grand style, with singers and orchestra performing a crowd-pleasing and very symbolic music program. BC is calling the performance "A Noteworthy Event," and will include choral music performed by the combined Bakersfield College choirs and instrumental music performed by the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra. The event marks the official opening of the entire performing arts co
