Tejon Indians take another step towards reservation, casino

BAKERSFIELD, CA- The county planning department is working to forge an agreement with the Tejon Indian tribe over how the two governments will work together.KGET revealed last June the tribe planned to buy three hundred acres of land in Mettler and build a casino near the junction of Highway 99 and Interstate 5.The tribe told us Tuesday morning, the land is in escrow, and the tribe is moving forward to create its reservation.
