Taft superintendent 'disappointed' by Oliver mistrial

Blanca Cavazos, superintendent of the Taft Union High School District, said in a statement Wednesday she was "disappointed" by Tuesday's mistrial in the Kern County Superior Court trial of school shooter Bryan Oliver.

"We are disappointed that this tragic incident has not been resolved in the judicial system so that we can move forward," she wrote in an email.
