Taft elementary schools supe removed from paid leave

The Taft City School District took Superintendent Ron Bryant off paid administrative leave Wednesday after the administrator was sentenced a day earlier for driving under the influence of alcohol.

The district's school board president, Les Clark, said the district is "pursuing its options" on Bryant's employment.
