State water use down 27 percent in June

BAKERSFIELD, CA- Even though it was the hottest June on record, Californian's saved water last month.
The state water board released water conservation numbers this morning for June,the first under the mandatory statewide 25-percent reduction in water use ordered by Governor Jerry Brown.The state did better than that, reducing water use by 27.3 percent in June.
