State may issue tougher water restrictions Tuesday

BAKERSFIELD, CA- The State Water Resources Control Board will consider much stricter water restrictions during a meeting on Tuesday.

The restrictions would limit outdoor watering to twice a week.

They would also put limits on the hospitality industry. Water would only be provided to customers in restaurants and bars when they ask for it. Hotels would be required to offer guests the option of not having towels and sheets washed everyday.
