State launches new website toward becoming more green

SACRAMENTO, CA -- The state has launched a new website to celebrate Earth Day today, which shows its progress toward reducing its environmental footprint.It's doing this by greening the state's buildings, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and helping to reduce water use to also help the drought.The site provides a status report on each state agency and the department's progress toward meeting goals outlined by the governor in 2012.Click this link to see the website: www.greenbuildings.ca.gov&nb
