Spay and neuter vouchers available

People who live in the county can now get their pet spayed or neutered for just $20.

Kern County Animal Services will issue vouchers to lower-income unincorporated Kern County residents at the following shelter locations during regular business hours:

Bakersfield - 3951 Fruitvale Ave
Lake Isabella - 14891 Hwy 178
Mojave - 923 Poole Street (Mojave Airport)

Residents must complete an application and submit it to the Department for review; upon review, the qualifying applicant
