SJCH recieves prestigious cardiac award

San Joaquin Community Hospital received an award Thursday morning from the American Academy of Cardiology. It's called the Platinum Performance Award and the hospital says it is the only hospital in the county to receive it. Officials say in order to receive the award the facility met certain standards 90 percent of the time, from the time a heart patient arrived until they were discharged.
