San Francisco mayor proposes razing part of major interstate

San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee is floating a proposal to tear down part of amajor interstate and build an underground rail tunnel in a project thatwould open up a whole new area of the city to redevelopment, anewspaper reported Monday.
