Redlands firefighter to stand trial for murder in Tehachapi

BAKERSFIELD, CA - After a day and a half of testimony and 20 minutes of deliberation, Judge Charles Brehmer ruled there is enough evidence to proceed with a trial in the case of Jonathon Hearn.Hearn will stand trial on one count of first degree murder with enhancements of lying in wait and discharging a firearm causing bodily harm or death. Prosecutors allege Hearn ambushed Robert Limon at the BNSF rail yard in Tehachapi on August 17, when Limon returned to work.
