Red Cross Kern Chapter accepting local hero nominees

The American Red Cross Kern Chapter is accepting nominations for its annual Real Hero awards honoring outstanding community members.

Winners will be celebrated for selfless acts of courage and humanitarian service in Kern County. The actions taken must have occurred after Jan. 1, 2014.
