Priest in Tulare arrested for embezzlement

Embezzlement charges were filed Friday by the Tulare County District Attorney's Office against a priest with the Diocese of Fresno.
Rev. Ignacio Villafan with St. Rita's parish in Tulare was charged after an investigation by the Tulare police department was confirmed by an outside accounting firm.
