Plan in the works between ICE and KCSO to help deport undocumented immigrants

BAKERSFIELD, CA - Immigration agents may soon be moving into Lerdo Jail. It's part of a plan between the Kern County Sheriff's Department and ICE to help deport undocumented criminals after serving their time at Lerdo Jail.The plan between the two is still being ironed out but Sheriff Donny Youngblood says it's just the latest effort in trying to keep the community safe."If you are here and you are here illegally and you commit certain crimes or multiple crimes you should be deported."
