Pedestrian struck and killed by big rig identified

A 72-year-old man struck and killed by a big rig on Interstate 5 Monday has been identified as San Francisco resident Calvin Thomas.
A coroner's office news release said Thomas was struck on southbound I-5 about a mile south of Copus Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
