Overnight crash leaves one dead

BAKERSFIELD, CA- The CHP is looking into a fatal crash at Round Mountain Road and Eastmont Road around 2:40 Monday morning.This is a remote location on an oil lease north of the California Living Museum.
When CHP officers arrived they discovered that an SUV went off the side of the road, and fell 40 feet down an embankment.
"We discovered there was one vehicle involved, it went off the side of the road upside down and landed on some infrastructure dealing with the oil industry,"
