One road project ends, another begins

It was a case of another day, another $107.4 million in road projects for Bakersfield officials Friday.

City leaders and transportation types marked the completion of the Highway 58 Gap Closure Project with a ribbon-cutting -- followed immediately by a ground-breaking on the Beltway Operational Improvements Project.
