One dead, others displaced after home fires in Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, CA. - Multiple people had to find a new place to spend Christmas night after an apartment fire in southwest Bakersfield and home fire in Rosedale.
Firefighters were called to an apartment complex on Durham Court just after nine last night.     Firefighters forced their way in to the locked apartment and  found a woman inside, unconscious and reportedly suffering from a heart attack.     She's being treated at Kern Medical Center right now.
