Officer-involved shooting in downtown Bakersfield

A resident of the Hart Hotel says the 47 year old man who was shot and killed Tuesday night was Jeff Alexander. He says the man told him he was a retired naval officer, but we have not verified that. However, since the man had only been staying there for about three days, that's all he really knows.
