North HS student surprised with big scholarship

A graduating North High School student, Kelly Ayllon, was surprised Wednesday with a scholarship from Pacific Gas and Electric Co. The Bright Minds scholarship will give her as much as $20,000 per year for as many as five years to complete her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles.
