New Year's dinner for the homeless attracts hundreds

Jazz Kehn, a 6-year-old clutching a toy box Thursday, ran to his mom and dad, who were sitting in a tent outside the Comprehensive Blood & Cancer Center.

The group blended into what looked like a sparsely filled tent at 12:45 p.m. But actually about 450 homeless men, women and children cycled in for an annual meal for the homeless.
