New Year's Day will be a cold morning

It will only be the first morning of the first day of 2015, but the winter season's coldest temperatures are expected early New Year's Day.
The National Weather Service at Hanford extended its hard freeze warning until 9 a.m. Thursday as temperatures in the San Joaquin Valley are expected to be in the low- to mid-20s.
