New financial chief hired for KMC

Kern County supervisors picked a permanent chief financial officer for Kern Medical Center Tuesday, adding another name to a list of people who've held the critical job in recent months.

Andrew Cantu, currently CFO at Mercy Hospitals, will take the CFO job at KMC Feb. 9.
