Motorcyle driver who died identified

Danny Darnell Cottengim, 57, of Bakersfield, was identified as the driver of a motorcycle who died Wednesday near Arvin after an accident, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Cottengim was driving near Sunset Boulevard and Towerline Road about 6:10 p.m. when he was struck by another vehicle, the CHP reported.
