Median home prices fall this year

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The end of 2014 ended on a down note for the real estate market, as local appraiser Gary Crabtree reports the median home price slipped about $6,200 in December.
Crabtree said it's a sign of the slowdown in price appreciation we've seen over the last few months.     For the first time since 2010, we actually saw the median price slip year over year.
The median home price was $205,000 in December.     That's down 2.9 percent from November.
