Maricopa girl recovering from burns

MARICOPA, CA- A 5-year-old Maricopa girl is being treated for burns covering 60 percent of her body.
Fire officials say she and her 9-year-old sister were playing with matches and gas.
Kern county fire says a neighbor heard the girl screaming and jumped over the fence and took theburning clothes off the girl and administered first aid.
Fire officials say the incident happened a few miles from the fire station and first responders wereable to have her airlifted within 20 minutes.
