Man wounded in drive-by shooting speaks out

A Bakersfield man is speaking out after he was shot several times in east Bakersfield Sunday night.

Police continue to search for a suspect.

Arthur Washington, 39. was shot around 8:30 Sunday night in the 900 block of South Robinson Street, about a block east of Martin Luther King Park.

"I don't know who shot me. It was just a car pass by and they shot me so I ran down the street and I called 911 myself and they picked me up," Washington said.
