Man severely injured in rollover

BAKERSFIELD, CA- A man was severely injured Sunday afternoon when his truck rolled on rain slicked roads.

The CHP says the man was ejected after his truck hydro planed and rolled on Highway 99 near Highway 46.

The pickup overturned in the center median.

CHP officials say the driver Jay S. Khunphixay, 37, sustained major injuries and was taken to KMC.

Officers said that heavy rainfall and speed appeared to be factors in the crash.
