Man rescued after falling over the bluffs

A Bakersfield man had to be rescued after falling over the Bluffs. Bakersfield Fire Dept. said they got the call just before 11 a.m. Residents in the area of Haley and Panorama reported a victim was over the bluffs. Crews deployed rope rescue equipment from the top while another crew searched for the victim from the bottom of the bluffs. The victim was found with very minor injuries and rescue crews were able to assist the victim down the hillside to safety.
