Man high on meth climbs power pole, threatens officers

Officials say at 11:32 Monday morning, a Bakersfield police officer was flagged down by a witness who said a man had climbed a power pole north of a Rite Aid store. Investigations found the man approximately 20 feet up a power pole, armed with a knife, saying he wanted to to kill himself.
