Man dead after car crashed into light pole

A man died at 8:25 p.m. at Kern Medical Center after his car crashed into a light pole in East Bakersfield, according to CHP Sergeant James Nabor.Nabors told 23ABC that 20-year-old Jose Juan Martinez Andrade  was driving at a high-rate of speed going south on Oswell Street. He speculated that the vehicle hit the median, then careened off the right side of the road and hit a light pole. That man has been taken to Kern Medical Center.
