Man convicted in balloon explosion gets 3 years probation
A man accused of blowing up a large latex balloon on the Fourth of July has been sentenced. The explosion injured four people.
James Trino, 49, pleaded no contest last month to a felony charge of possessing a destructive device.
Trino and Julian Elizondo, 44. were found to have made devices out of large latex balloons and an explosive gas.
