Major railroad announces $141 million in improvements
BAKERSFIELD, CA- BNSF railway announced it will spend about $141 million in its 2015 budget to increase rail capacity and maintain current lines. The industry has come under recent criticism regarding the growing number of crude oil shipments by rail. Some of those shipments have ended with derailments and fiery explosions.
