Local man arrested in connection with shooting death

BAKERSFIELD, CA - A local man was arrested for murder in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on Friday in southwest Bakersfield.
According to Bakersfield police, 28-year-old Travell Clark was arrested as a suspect for the shooting death of an adult male in the 6700 block of Orleans Lane.     The shooting happened on Friday around 10:30 p.m.     The coroner identified the victim as 25-year-old Michael Lashawn Whatly Jr.     According to p
