Local engineer says train derailment was preventable

BAKERSFIELD, CA - As the investigation continues into Monday's commuter train crash in Oxnard, one local retired train engineer said the derailment could have been prevented.
Three of the train cars went off track and flipped over their sides after slamming into a truck leaving 28 people injured.
