Local developer drops suit against HSR

BAKERSFIELD, CA- The high-speed rail authority and the owners of a development at Coffee and Brimhall have a reached a settlement over the bullet-train's path.

The owners of Coffee-Brimhall, LLC had filed a lawsuit claiming the authority violated the the California Environmental Quality Act over its environmental impact report on the Fresno to Bakersfield portion of the route.

The landowners have agreed to drop their lawsuit with the promise the two will work together to realign the r
