KHSD meets with community to discuss program funds

BAKERSFIELD, CA. - The community had the opportunity last night to weigh in on plans to improve academic achievement among struggling student groups in the Kern High School District.
School districts receive state funds earmarked specifically for programs directed at low-income students, foster youth, and those learning English as a second language.     Trustees said that amounts to more than 60-percent of the district's student population.     KHSD will receive
